The Warena team has been hard at work, especially since the game launched on January 19th, 2022. We launched a Warena Reaction tournament that saw some fun, creative, and exciting reactions from the Warena community.
The trailer reaction campaign saw some of our biggest engagement ever from our community, with tons of great prizes going out to the participants. Now, let’s take a closer look at the Warena story trailer titled “Warena’s story: The Reckoning.”
The story begins with one of mankind’s intrepid space explorers in deep trouble. His spacecraft is damaged and he is hurtling towards an unknown. There he finds a hospitable planet deep in the furthest regions of charted space. (note that the following images are artistic representations of the story and the final trailer may look different)
Crashing onto the surface of this planet, the adventurer is saved by a group of elf-like aliens. Elves, within the Warena universe, are the most intelligent and advanced species. They find our explorer and repair his body using their superior technology.
During his time there, the explorer learns some of the ways of the Elves. Eventually, his spacecraft is repaired, so he ventures back into space and back to Earth.
On Earth, he imparts his newfound knowledge and single-handedly advances the fields of science and technology. He also does the most human of all — falls in love and has a family.
This child, afflicted with birth defects to his legs, is nonetheless born with elven DNA inside of him. This DNA affects the development of the infant's brain — and he becomes a child genius.
The boy does well until the death of his father, which leaves him feelings unguided and lost. Driven into isolation, the boy genius begins his own private research. He begins to look into and experiment with his own DNA, mixing it with robots, cyborgs, and A.I. technology.
The unintended results of the smartest child on Earth are like Icarus flying too close to the sun, as his experiments usher in the advancement of human cybernetic technology like never before.
