The new DeFi platform Emporia is a place for players to reside and do business in. Players will have the ability to mine resources, build houses, start guilds, organize events and earn income. Emporia will offer players a diverse landscape with a variety of benefits. So, what are some of the benefits of purchasing land within Emporia?
⛺ Benefits of owning land in Emporia
- Variety of available areas: Emporia has 5 key areas, including the City Hub (exchange and marketplace). Each area provides different benefits in terms of what activities can occur as well as the probability of resource point spawn frequency.
- Variety of terrains: Each piece of land in Emporia has different topography and terrain. Each type of terrain generates different types of resource points. Note: though all-terrain distribution is different, every area contains all 3 types of terrain (soil, forest, water).
- Earn income: Players who own land can earn income through a variety of activities including active income (mini-games, guilds, trading) and passive income (staking, farming). Note: players must own land in order to form a guild.
- Create buildings: A variety of buildings can be erected for different purposes. Players can make their home, their guildhall, or make a production house to exploit a resource point. Note: the type of buildings available will be dependent on what type of terrain or resource point is built upon.

The first land available for sale will be the area directly outside the city hub. This is the most sought out area in all of Emporia with the highest value (more valuable than other areas with twice the spawn rate of Resource Points compared to other areas). With that said, the ratio of farming resources and earning income will be higher in this area. This area contains 500 pieces of land, with a limited 200 lot pre-sale starting soon.
